How Giveth & Taketh Started

Giveth & Taketh began in August 2025 as a simple idea with a clear purpose. What started as a solo effort by Mason quickly grew into a partnership with Josh. Together, they laid the foundation for what would become Giveth & Taketh.

Mason and Josh have known each other since middle school. Through years of shared experiences—playing sports, attending the same high school, and maintaining a lasting friendship—their bond only strengthened. That history of trust and brotherhood now carries into their work, as they build not only a brand, but a shared vision.

Giveth & Taketh was founded on the belief that faith should be lived out, not just spoken about. Our mission is to help communities grow in faith through meaningful action. As a Christian brand, we aim to stand apart by intentionally giving back—through photography, video work, and special events that support and serve churches and local communities.

At its core, Giveth & Taketh reflects the reality of life: there are seasons of gain and seasons of loss. In both, there is purpose. Everything we create is rooted in that understanding and driven by a desire to honor God by serving others.
